Gîte created in July 2023, 15 minutes walk from the SNCF station, in a 17th century house, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge in Pont l'évêque.
Point of passage towards the Coast or towards Paris, Pont-l'Évêque has always been an important place of passage and trade (the barges went down the Touques).
In the Middle Ages, the city became an important administrative seat of the Viscounty of Auge. Occupied by the English during the 15th century, then affected by the Wars of Religion, Pont-l'Évêque then experienced an era of calm and prosperity.
The exhibitions in its former convent, its former prison and the Saint Michel Church will delight art lovers.
